I was thinking about truth today and how there is an attack on the concept of knowing absolute truth. There is this mindset gaining popularity that says- I have my truth and you have yours and we can both right. But two contradictory ideas (the sun is hot/the sun is cold or Jesus is God/Jesus is not God) can’t be true at the same time, yet this relativism, which ignores the rules of logical reasoning, is embraced by many.
Just think if the bible wasn’t true, it wouldn’t be the most popular selling book of all time if it wasn’t changing lives in a good way. It would just be information that faded away. That’s why no devil can extinguish it despite purposeful attempts by governments to eradicate it throughout the history of it’s beginnings because God protects His word. Has any other religious writing had such opposition? There are many countries that have bans or some sort of restrictions on the bible or the expression of Christianity. Why? It’s a demonic scheme behind the ones that love to control not wanting humanity to discover the freedom, power, and life that God has for them.
The fact that the mere mention of the name of Jesus Christ is so controversial and makes people feel awkward and shameful in a conversation when they know their life isn’t lining up with what He taught is evidence of Truth….since you can’t truly shame a person with other religions or falsehoods masquerading as truth because there isn’t the true authority of God behind it bearing witness to our conscience(Romans 2:14-15). So be free to dig into the Truth of the bible today and experience God.
